Our Reviews

Tennis shoes are sold by a plethora of companies, and Adidas is one of them. For many years, Adidas has been the market leader in tennis shoes, and the only brand that can compete with them is Nike. Adidas is known for manufacturing high-quality shoes year after year and is not only one of the industry’s leaders, but also the second most popular tennis shoe brand among professional players.

Adidas is known for being the brand of choice for world-class players like Stefanos Tsitsipas, Alexander Zverev, and Dominic Thiem, in addition to producing high-quality items.

It can be difficult to choose between all of Adidas’ top-of-the-line tennis shoes. However, after reading my list of the top 5 Adidas tennis shoes, your decision will be lot easier. Take a look at the options and see which one is best for you.

1. Adidas Solematch Bounce

For a long time, the Adidas Solematch Bounce has been the company’s top tennis shoe. It is now the world’s third most popular tennis shoe among professional players. The Solematch Boucne is worn by world-class players including Stefanos Tsitsipas, Dominic Thiem, and Jo-Wilfried Tsonga.

Adidas integrated support, comfort, and design in an extremely light package, which players adore. It’s one of the lightest tennis shoes on the market, but it still provides enough support to keep you safe on the court. While it’s hardly the most stable sneaker on the planet, but what do you expect from a lightweight tennis shoe?

It’s difficult to dispute that the Adidas Solematch isn’t the best tennis shoe on the market right now. In terms of speed, support, and comfort, it has everything a modern tennis player might want. There’s also no doubting that the Solematch is now one of the cleanest-looking tennis shoes on the market (if you ask me).

Pros

+ Light

+ Comfortable

+ Dominic Thiem and Stefanos Tsitsipas have both worn this shoe.

Cons

– Lack of stability

2. Adizero Ubersonic by Adidas

Another famous tennis shoe is the Adidas Adizero Ubersonic. The majority of its users are recreational, but it is still worn by several professional players on the ATP Tour. The Adizero Ubersonic is worn by players including as Alexander Zverev, Lucas Pouille, and Simon Gilles.

One of the most comfortable tennis shoes I’ve ever worn is the Adizero Ubersonic. They’re so light that they make you feel like you’re simply wearing socks on the court. The Adizero Ubersonic, like the Solecourt Boost, has the support needed to feel confident.

The Ubersonic has a low-ground feel to it, which makes you feel connected with each step you take. The Adizero Ubersonic is an excellent example of how the tennis business has shifted toward lighter shoes. In a lightweight package, Adidas has integrated comfort, stability, and ankle support.

Everyone who plays tennis on a competitive level should consider the Adizero Ubersonic. A fantastic tennis shoe that combines the best of both worlds in terms of lightness and support/stability.

Pros

+ Support & Stability

+ Lightweight

+ Alexander Zverev uses it.

Cons

– Longevity

3. Classic Adidas Barricade

You might not think of the Adidas Barricade Classic when you think of tennis shoes. However, it is one of the most dependable and long-lasting sneakers in the Adidas collection. It may not be as popular among professional athletes, but it is one of the most popular Adidas sneakers among recreational athletes.

A great tennis shoe for anyone with a bigger foot who has trouble playing with lighter choices. While the Barricade Classic isn’t exactly light, it’s also not particularly heavy. Barricade Classics’ weight is about average in my opinion.

It takes some time to get acclimated to the Barricade Classic, but once you do, it’ll be difficult to find a more comfortable pair of shoes.

The Barricade Classic tennis shoe is one of Adidas’ most solid, supportive, and long-lasting models. The Barricade Classic isn’t as light as the other shoes on this list, but if you’re searching for a tennis shoe with those qualities, you’ll enjoy it.

Pros

+ Durable

+ Stable & Supportive

Cons

– Heavier

4. CourtJam Bounce by Adidas

One of the most comfortable tennis shoes available is the Adidas CourtJam Bounce. Adidas designed this shoe to be the most comfortable shoe possible in a lightweight packaging. As a result, this shoe has become immensely popular among recreational tennis players, and many players wear it for activities other than tennis.

It’s a proper tennis shoe, but many players wear it for a walk or a gym session because of its comfort. While it’s a very light and comfy sneaker, you may expect it to be unreliable. The CourtJam Bounce, on the other hand, is not like that. The CourtJam feature outstanding durability because to the innovative Vamp construction, which combines mesh and TPU.

The TPU shank resists unwanted twisting and turning and can withstand even the most severe lateral cuts. On any court surface, the Adiwear outsole with a modified herringbone tread pattern delivers reliable traction.

If you’re looking for a tennis shoe that can be worn on and off the court, the CourtJam Bounce is the shoe for you. It offers comfort, performance, and style.

Pros

+ Lightweight

+ Durability

+ Comfort

Cons

-Stability

5. GameCourt by Adidas

The Adidas GameCourt is a low-cost tennis shoe designed for casual players. The Adidas GameCourt is now Adidas’ most affordable tennis shoe, and there is no better tennis shoe available for the price. It isn’t utilized by any professional players because it isn’t intended for them. This is one of Adidas’ most popular tennis shoes for leisure use.

It appears to be quite similar to the Solecourt Boost at first glance, however their performance is vastly different. While the GameCourt is Adidas’ entry-level tennis shoe, it doesn’t feel like it.

Adidas deleted the extra top and overlay on the instep to minimize the shoe’s cost. This removes some characteristics from the shoe, but not enough for a regular player to notice. The GameCourt has a really interesting tongue in the sock liner that is seamlessly integrated with the shoe.

If you’re on a budget and want the greatest sneaker for the money, the GameCourt is the shoe for you. For the same price, I can’t think of a finer tennis shoe.

Pros

+ Comfortable for the price

+ Lightweight

+ Low Cost

Cons

– Less support and stability

Making Your Final Choice

All of the tennis shoes listed above are excellent choices, but there are a few that stick out. That’s the Adidas Adizero Ubersonic and the Adidas Solecourt Boost.

The Adidas Solecourt Boost will always be my go-to shoe. It has the perfect balance of comfort, design, and support in a very light package, making it difficult to find any flaws in the shoe. It is used by a large number of professional players for a reason. The Solecourt Boost is without a doubt Adidas’ No. 1 tennis shoe right now.

While most players will prefer the Solecourt Boost, the Adizero Ubersonic may be a better fit for the right person. If you’re looking for a pair of tennis shoes with a lot of stability and support, the Ubersonic is a better choice than the Solecourt Boost.

Choose the Solecourt Boost if you had to pick just one shoe today. Otherwise, go ahead and try on both shoes to discover which one is better for you.
